Rounds are a multidisciplinary process involving detailed discussions about patient care and on-the-spot learning.

NOON

Das provides an interactive review during a noon conference. The daily conferences—offered live and virtually for off-site residents—provide formal education for neurology residents. Residents and attendings alike are encouraged to participate.

1:00 pm

Das visits patients for afternoon check-ins and updates. Consistent updates and re-examinations are crucial to delivering patient-centered care.

1:30 pm

Using afternoon downtime for additional teaching, Das provides a neuroimaging and case-based review for med students and junior residents.

2:00 pm

During a daily multidisciplinary case management conference, providers, discharge nurses, case management representatives, therapists, and the rehab team from the Craig H. Neilsen Rehabilitation Hospital collaborate to ensure the best disposition for all neurology patients.
